These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of SAD.MBA (“we”) about your use of SAD.MBA. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
01About the service
SAD.MBA helps scholarship applicants review an unsuccessful application and prepare the next one. The service includes the rejection autopsy, scholarship-specific grader, story miner, interview simulator, planning agent, scholarship matcher and awardee review.
SAD.MBA is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for LPDP, Chevening or any other scholarship provider. Their names and logos are used only to show which scholarships the service supports.
02Your account
- You must be 18 or over, or use the service with the consent of a parent or guardian.
- The account details you give must be accurate and your own.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect someone else is using it.
03What the service does and does not do
- Autopsy results, scores, readiness estimates and suggestions are generated by AI from your documents, publicly available rubrics and patterns we have learned. They are all estimates. We do not know the actual reasons behind a panel's decision.
- We do not guarantee that you will be selected for any scholarship.
- The service does not write essays for you. Everything you submit to a scholarship provider is your own work and your own responsibility.
- Scholarship requirements and deadlines can change. Always check the provider's official sources before you apply.
04Your documents and content
All documents, recordings and writing you upload remain yours. You give us limited permission to store and process them, only as far as needed to run the service for you.
We only use your content to train or improve the grader if you separately agree to it. The details are in the Privacy Policy.
You confirm that you are entitled to upload the content and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
05What you may not do
You may not:
- use the service to create or falsify documents, grades, certificates or recommendation letters;
- upload someone else's documents without their permission;
- share your account or resell access to the service;
- scrape, reverse-engineer or interfere with our systems;
- use the service for any unlawful purpose.
We may restrict or close accounts that break these terms.
06Plans and payment
- The basic autopsy is free.
- The Reapply Pass is a one-time payment covering one application cycle, up to the deadline of the scholarship you choose or 6 months from purchase, whichever comes first.
- Awardee reviews are paid per session.
The price that applies is the one shown on the purchase page when you pay, in Indonesian rupiah, and that is the final amount you pay. Payments are processed by a licensed Indonesian payment provider named on the payment page.
Payments are non-refundable. The only exceptions are when we cannot provide a paid service because of a fault on our side, or when the law requires a refund. Awardee review sessions can be rescheduled up to 24 hours before they start.
07Awardee reviews
Reviewers are scholarship recipients who work with us independently. They do not represent any scholarship provider. Their feedback is personal opinion based on experience, not an official assessment.
08Availability and changes to the service
SAD.MBA is still being developed. Features may be added, changed or removed, and the service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance or outages. If a change significantly reduces the value of a plan you have already paid for, we will tell you in advance and offer a fair remedy.
09Our intellectual property
The SAD.MBA software, design, brand and materials belong to us or our licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable right to use them while your account is active.
10Limits on our liability
We run the service with care, but scholarship outcomes depend on many things outside our control. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for your not being selected, or for indirect losses arising from use of the service. Our liability for direct losses is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.
Nothing in these terms reduces the rights you have as a consumer under Indonesia's Law No. 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection, or limits our liability for intent or gross negligence.
11Ending your use
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with prior notice unless the breach is serious. What happens to your data after an account is closed is explained in the Privacy Policy.
12Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For significant changes, we will notify you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can stop using the service before that date.
13Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. If a dispute arises, both sides will first try to settle it amicably. If no agreement is reached within 30 days, the dispute will be resolved through the Consumer Dispute Settlement Agency (BPSK) or the Sidoarjo District Court. This does not affect your right as a consumer to bring a claim where you live.
These terms are written in Indonesian and English. If the two versions are interpreted differently, the Indonesian version prevails.
